Sam wins the 2015 Kleban Prize!

We’re thrilled to announce that Sam Carner has won the 2015 Kleban Prize for Most Promising Librettist!

In the 25-year history of the award, past winners have included Jason Robert Brown, Craig Carnelia, Robert Lopez and Jeff Marks, John Weidman, Adam Gwon, John Bucchino, and other distinguished writers.

Congratulations as well to Sam Willmott, the winner of this year’s Kleban prize for Most Promising Lyricist.

Starstudded St. Jude’s Benefit / March 6 @ 8pm

The show features incredible performers like Jennifer Damiano, Ciara Renee, Lilli Cooper, and (singing our song), the pyrotechnic Jackie Burns. Original songs by fantastic writers including Tom Kitt, Bobby Cronin, Lyons and Pakchar, Zoey Sarnak, Joey Contreras, and the remarkable organizer of the concert Drew Overcash.

The class will be at RADA, 16 Chenies St, London WC1E 7EX, The Henry Irving Room. Each participant will have 20 minutes of personal attention and, of course, get to observe the entire session. £40 to participate / £15 to observe.

If you’d like even more two-on-one time, we have very limited availability for Private Coaching sessions throughout the week. £90 for 50 minutes / room hire included.

December13thFlyerWe’ll be premiering a Christmas number as part of the Broadway’s Future Holiday Songbook on December 13th (Saturday) at 2:30pm at Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walter Auditorium (111 Amsterdam Ave. @ 65th St.)

This concert brings together musical-theatre writers for a concert of original holiday songs. The concert is FREE and open to the public, no reservation required.

In past years, we premiered I Hope I Can Wait Until Christmas and The Egg Nog Song. Our number this year “A Christmas Pageant” will be a mini extravaganza featuring McKenna Cox, Theo Dolan, William Thomas Evans, Nick Gaswirth, Elyse Moon, David Perlman, Natalie Sparbeck, Deena Sydney, Sebastian Hedges Thomas, and Kevin White.
