We’re thrilled to be heading to Paris this week for a pair of Island Song concerts at the Comedie Nation on March 6 and 8 — as well as the Broadway au Carre concert on March 4. We’d love to see you there!
A workshop production of our musical Island Song (the show that our songs “Sing, But Don’t Tell” “Wall Lovin'” “New York, Do You Care?” “Make It Here” “Stay Awhile” “So Far From Pennsylvania” among others come from) is being presented at the Bloomington Playwrights Project, 107 W. 9th St., Bloomington, Indiana.
We’re spending January in Indiana, developing the show with our director and co-story-writer Marlo Hunter.
Fresh off the premiere concert presentation of Island Song in New York, our musical anthology will be traveling half-way around the world to the island of Japan for a concert presentation in Tokyo on December 8th and 9th.
Join us at 7pm on Monday, November 12th at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City for our big concert reveal of ISLAND SONG.
The concert is directed by Marlo Hunter and will feature David Ayers (Rent, Fiddler on the Roof), Emma Hunton (RENT, Spring Awakening), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal tour, Me, Myself & I), Sarah Stiles (Into the Woods, On a Clear Day, Avenue Q), and Raena White (Dreamgirls at Marriott Theatre Chicago)
Five New Yorkers are caught in a twisted love affair… with the city. This unique musical anthology takes us through their poignant and hilarious journeys to seize their own potential and the possibilities the city dangles before them. Driven by its kinetic and eclectic score featuring 3 MAC nominated songs, ISLAND SONG captures every urbanite’s triumphs, disappointments, and ever-tested perspective.
